Ok so, I go to run cmd in the run box and it says "cmd is not a valid win32 application". I noticed this after attempting to run a batch file and it said that it was not a vald win32 application either.
I had been successfully running "cmd" out of run just minutes before, and out of nowhere it started happening. However, when I run it from the accessories menu in the start menu, it works fine. But, my batch files still don't work and I'd like to run it out of the run box. I did an AVG scan and deleted 153 threats, and I have a hijackthis log as everywhere I have been to usually requests one. However, it won't let me upload it so I'll just copy and paste into this post..

deleted 153 threats
Chances are, it won't help.
Any idea where (how) you got that many Virii ? Seems like you are best off backing up + scanning data, and doing a complete restore + format.
I noticed you have wildtangent + weatherbug which are spyware. I also think O2 -
BHO: MyWebSearch Search Assistant BHO - {00A6FAF1-072E-44cf-8957-5838F569A31D} - C:\Program Files\MyWebSearch\SrchAstt\5.bin\MWSSRCAS.DLL is spyware as well.

Yeah haha I'm not the only one who uses this computer, in fact I can honestly tell you the dealio toolbar thing was downloaded while my stepdad was on, and my sister browses around and downloads random shit all the time.
Not to mention they all refuse to use Firefox and go with our old version of IE.
Trust me, I know how to browse the internet safely.
Not all the 153 threats were viruses...most of it was spyware, there was a netbus thing but I routinely check my ports with netstat and for the past half a year there has been no suspicious activity to make me consider someone was controlling my computer.
Anyways, any ideas how to get cmd back? Or just re-install windows?
And system restore didn't work, I tried about 5 different restore points and all of them came back and said the computer could not be restored to that point, try again.
